Loose Change to Loosen Chains….. Got Change to Unchain a Life?
A group of us at Cabrillo College are in a communications class and part of our semester project is to do a fundraiser for a worthy cause. We have chosen International Justice Mission (IJM).
IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials around the world to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems. They have offices in 25 countries and free 1 million children a year.
Our goal is to fundraise at least $500 for the semester. If we exceed our goal it would be even better. Any change you have to help this worthy cause would be appreciated. Thank you for changing a life!
